Niagara Culinary Trail - As a member of the NCT I find this is a very helpful site to find information about supporters of sustainable farming as well as where to locate some great farm stands.
Palatine Fruit and Roses - Renee and Eva Schmitz own this beautiful farm which has won international acclaim for its amazing roses.Their love of the land is obvious and they have worked hard towards achieving their organic certification this coming year. Niagara Parks - If exploring nature is your passion Niagara has alot to offer! One of our favourite hiking spots is the Niagara Glen!
Cycling In Niagara Many of my guests bring their bikes but they are also easily rented at Zoom. Niagara Region provides some great resources for cycing in the area and the above site has a cycling map which you can print out.

For ten years Auggie was the first one to greet my guests when they arrived. She challenged me to take our daily walks regardless of the weather and we knew every nook and cranny of our rural neighbourhood intimately as a result. We made friends with neighbours, farmers and many workers from Jamaica. The beauty of the Four Mile Creek watershed and Niagara Shores park are a natural treasure I have come to cherish ! I am grateful to have had such a great little companion to explore with!
